Buster isn’t just the star of a picture book series. He’s a real pug with a big personality, a sweet heart and legs that sometimes make life a little harder.

 

Buster was born in Michigan. He’s a fawn pug who now lives in Florence, Italy with his family. 

 

Because his legs tire easily and sometimes hurt, his mom bought him a stroller so he could keep exploring the world and having epic adventures. That stroller turned out to be magical in its own way. It lets Buster travel through cities, piazzas and cobblestone streets where he makes friends everywhere he goes.

People light up when they see him. They smile, laugh, stop for pictures and often end up chatting with his family. Sometimes days later, in a busy city, someone will spot him and shout out “Buster!” just like he’s an old friend. That’s the magic of Buster. He brings people together who might never have met otherwise.

Of course, Buster is still very much a pug. He is sweet and sassy, stubborn and loves getting treats! He never turns down a nap or a good chew toy. He has a way of winning people over with both his silly side and his strong spirit.

 

The joy he spreads in real life is what inspired Buster’s Adventures, a children’s picture book series for ages 3–5. The stories capture his love of travel, his bravery in facing challenges and his magical stroller that makes anything possible.

Just like the real Buster, these books remind kids that they can do big things and that kindness, courage, and curiosity can bring people together all over the world.
